Abstract

This paper aims, after a distinction on the various meanings of Being and of Non-Being, to reflect on the articulations of the notion of dynamis, on the nexus between Potentiality, Deprivation, Movement and Actuality and on the elements of stability and instability within human life. The theme of happiness, with which the contribution ends, as well as inviting us to reflect on the theme of identity, allows us to weave the three topics of this reflection (that is Being, Being Able to Be and Becoming) also to that of “Having to Be”. Finally, the theoretical framework within which this reflection is placed is the one of the Multifocal Approach which, even with regard to the issues examined here, seems to find multiple and clear confirmations.
